Brilliant item along with Soup Maker by Sophia Hobbs been using every day for about 1 week – impressed family so much – I have had to buy 2 of each item for other family members. Each soup has been amazing, easy to clean, easy to make and cook, hassle free, cheap to make – great purchase – very happy.**Given negative reviews about the bottom burning – I wash the soup maker right away (and pour the soup into a large bowl) …I have had no issue’s so far using this method.

Very easy to use and clean. Made several soups and it’s so simple and quick. Would recommend

Easy to use and makes soup very quickly. I made chicken and mushroom soup opting for a smooth version. The machine is a little noisy when blending but nothing unacceptable. The soup stayed hot for ages and was completely lump less. So far I’m impressed . It would have been more helpful if the jug part detached from the electrical components to enable it to be immersed in water for cleaning. The soup maker seems to be very good quality.

Good, simple, cheap, soup maker. Easy to use makes great soup. Mmax = 4, min = 3 average portions. Would be 5 stars but common to most soup makes some ingredients (potatoes, tomatoe paste etc.) nearly always stick and take some shifting.

Brilliant bit of kit. Takes 21 mins. Easy to clean

Swithered whether to get a soup maker, I am pleased I did. It is user friendly, easy to clean, makes tasty soup in no time. A great way to get more nutritional vegetables in your diet and have a delicious bowl of comforting homemade soup in less than half an hour.

Great product, now making soups 2-3 times a week. Have found best to out some oil on base before adding vegetables as can scorch a little bit and make cleaning a bit more of a chore.

Have to return due to major overheating issue. Only used this three times, to instruction each time – nothing overfilled, adequate liquid, everything stirred, etc. and every single time the bottom has become charred. The first use I got one full cycle. The second use it cut out approximately 10 mins through the cycle. The third use it was barely three minutes in and it cut out. Each time the unit was thoroughly and correctly cleaned with no residue remaining inside. Attached is a picture of the bottom of the unit inside after the third use – you can’t tell me that a normally functioning item would scorch that badly within three minutes of use??? The element seems to be overheating and judging by the fact that each time the duration is shorter, the problem is getting worse and is no doubt a fire hazard at this point. Luckily Amazon have agreed to a return as a faulty product, and I will be looking for a new soup maker from a different manufacturer next time round.
