Customers say
Customers find the dehumidifier effective at removing moisture and keeping car windows clear, particularly in cold weather. The product works well in vehicles and stays securely on the dashboard with its non-slip pads. While some customers consider it worth the price, others find it overpriced. The size receives mixed feedback, with some appreciating its large capacity while others note it’s slightly larger than expected.

A good dehumidifying effect
Got these for my nephews car after he has had the dogs out in the rain and then home in the car, it helps to dehumidify the car and he has found them very useful. They are well made with the length and width of an average house brick but about half the depth, I thought they were value for money.

Fabtastic Hillington Car Dehumidifier
Great, nice size very absorbent. Works a treat. My partner was even impressed as he already had some but not the same product. 10/10 Thanks

Suitable for large SUVs
OK, so these are not a magic cure, but they do make a huge difference. They will not eliminate moisture on the window, but they do reduce how much condensation there is buy quite a lot. I have a nissan X-Trail and my partner has Hyndai Tucson and both used these for several months. Previously water would be running down the inside of the windscreen and would take a lot to clear, now, we do not need to wipe and has reduced the time it takes to clear the windscreen significantly. No water running down and no ice inside. The non slip mats work extremely well. Definitely worth giving them ago. We have had for a few months and still not needed to dry them out, so hold a lot of moisture. When you do dry them out it does Recommend using kitchen towel with them in the microwave as otherwise there is nowhere for the moisture to go, so takes longer or does not dry them out properly for reuse. We have placed previous versions in the airing cupboard.

Yes work very well
Yes good they work well, nothing worse than wet car windows may work in small rooms, but I’ve not tried

Useful but not a magic cure
A problem I found (and why I reduced the stars) is that I kept finding these tiny clear beads (see picture) in the kitchen, particularly near the microwave. I think I ate one that fell in some food because I crunched on it. It turns out the stitching had come apart in the corner of one of the pouches. It seems like it’s quite likely to happen based on the product design and low quality stitching.Besides that issue, my review of the product itself follows.I found that they do reduce the amount of condensation on the windscreens but not able to completely eliminate it. It depends on how humid it is. Living in the North West, it’s often 95% humidity or above all winter.Without using these, I have enough condensation inside the car to half fill a bucket (after wiping off and wringing out). When I use this product, there is less, or none at all, or in some cases it might just keep it clear directly next to the product whereas further away it might have less but still some condensation. They need to be reset quite often, every couple of days. The blue/pink indicator isn’t particularly good, unless you have a reference to compare it to. Most of the time they still look blue, but may be more whitish blue so it’s hard to tell. If they’re in that state then they won’t be doing much. It’s most obvious that they are full by feeling the weight. After microwaving, it takes 45-60 minutes before they’re ready to use because all the moisture in them steams off slowly (so best left outside or near a window). If you put it immediately in your car then your car will fill with steam. After microwaving is also the only time I’ve seen the indicator actually turn pink – from all the steam leaving.I find them useful to have near windows inside the house as well, or near drying clothes. They do absorb a lot of water. But they basically need to be reset before every use because even from just sitting in a house they’ll absorb a lot of water and become useless. If you put it next to the windscreen in such a state then it has the opposite effect – the moisture will leave it and deposit onto the windscreen.

Brilliant product
I’ve got a small car with a glass hatch boot and apparently they all leak a bit so my car is always full of condensation when the weather gets colder. I was a bit sceptical about how well this would work but it’s amazing. I put it on the dashboard when I park at home in the evening and then in the morning the car is condensation free. It comes with a pad to stick it to the dashboard but i haven’t used that. Occasionally I’ve forgotten to put it on the dashboard but it still works from the footwell or passenger seat and the car is condensation free in the morning. I’ve just had to microwave it after nearly four weeks of daily use. The dot clearly went pink and went back to blue when I microwaved it. I’ve put it back in the work and it’s still working well. No more futile wiping with rubbish dusters and hopefully no more freezing on the inside when it get colder.

Does the job well
Does the job nicely, absorbs moisture well when left on the dashboard, stick them on a radiator to renew and start again. Used during last Winter, waited to review to see how they worked out, but both myself & wife very happy.

Good Car Product
Good product for in the car, and I think it will be even better when the weather changes, as I will need it more.
