Twelve tailored chances for perfect harmony . . .
Kate Turner is happily single – a bit too happily, in fact. Since returning to her hometown, the sleepy village of Blexford, love hasn’t really had a look in.
But Kate does love Christmas. So when her best friend insists she signs up to the Twelve Dates of Christmas, a brand new dating app service, she doesn’t need too much persuading. Twelve perfect festive dates with the area’s most eligible men – who could say no?
Amongst the twinkling lights and falling snow, over hot chocolates and glasses of red wine, romance is easy to find. But with each date, Kate learns more about the men, and even more about herself.
As the big day approaches, Kate’s left wondering – is it really the season for true love, or will this Christmas be the coldest yet?

A great Xmas romance 🥰
I enjoyed this romance which features Kate, a singlewoman who embarks on a journey of meeting menthrough twelve different dates in December.I love a small town setting and this one in England gave a good sense of community and friendship and it made for such a cosy setting. Kate’ best friends added to the story and everyone in the village appeared to know all about Kates dates as she met a range of men.I thought early on where the story was going but it just made me want to read on to see if I was correct and if Kate was able to find Mr Right. A great Xmas story – very enjoyable. This is my first book by this author and I will be reading more of her works.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Cosy festive read
Am sobbing over the beautiful ending to this book….but will say no more about it.I loved all the different types of dates Kate found herself on (and was obviously raging on her behalf at some of them), adored her and Laura’s relationship and the secondary romance that takes place 🥰I did feel like the chapters were long, which is why I gave a 4 (in reality it’s a 4.5 because of that) but it was a beautiful story and I loved Kate’s creativity in all areas of her life 🥰

Cute and Christmassy!
You really get the small town Christmassy vibes from this book, I love how we are gradually dipped bits of Kate’s past along with the present as the book progresses. Written with a date per chapter, some chapters are rather long. Although I prefer shorter chapters, I found this structure of a date per chapter actually worked quite well.I absolutely loved the nature aspect of this book, Laura being an artist and drawing on the inspiration around her was lovely. And I love that this has a happily ever after. Although I predicted how the ending would go, the journey through the book was brilliant and all in all a festive read for getting in the Christmas mood!If you are looking for a good Christmassy read, I recommend adding this one to your list! 🎄

Predictable
Nice, festive story but very predictable….wanted to give up 20 pages in as guessed the ending- however easy to read chick lit suited to an easy Christmas read….

Completely Enchanting!
This book was absolutely delightful! From start to finish I was completely enchanted. Kate is an artist and I enjoyed how it was woven throughout the book. I adored the small tight-knit community she lives in, her relationship with her father, her whacky mother, her best friends and the entire concept of a dating agency that organises 12 dates over December for the participants of the “12 Dates of Christmas”. Each date was different, each man was different, and I was in stitches of laughter as Kate wove her way through the various shenanigans. I wasn’t remotely surprised with who Kate was with at the end (it’s obvious) but for a good chunk of the book, I could not see the path to getting there and that journey – along with the dating antics – kept me engrossed. It’s a warm, cozy, and funny read that is packed full of Christmas magic. I definitely want to re-read this next Christmas… Or maybe whenever I need a little pick-me-up.

Loved it except for a few ignorant parts
I loved the predictable story – exactly what you want for a Christmas read. The whole will they won’t they! From the first page you knew Kate and Matt were meant to be together. 12 dates later and they get there in their festive village. What I didn’t like is the two references to diabetes. You cannot get diabetes by eating sugar! I am surprised that this book has characters who make that dumb sort of joke. For me, that let the book down and I hope the author changes this in future editions. It loses a star for this.

Recommended Christmas read
“He had a strong Scottish accent which, had Kate been in a different frame of mind, would absolutely have set her knickers on fire.”Oh my god I loved this. Once I got into the swing of it I was hooked and I’ve focused solely on this book the last few days even though I usually multi-read 😂Couple of things though; why would you call two of the main characters such similar names?? Mac and Matt?? Real confusing at first.I loved the mention of my hometown (Chelmo), the twelve dates concept itself (I’d definitely sign up for that dating app!) and I loved how all the characters interlinked. This book also made me laugh out loud, a lot, which I wasn’t expecting.Gonna finish off with one more quote – “Ben’s idea of romance is not letting one go during sex”BUY THIS FOR NEXT CHRISTMAS, KTHANKS

Lovely!
I loved this story. The characters were great, and even the minor characters had enough to them to be “real”. The writing drew me in so that I almost expected to find snow on the ground when I had to stop reading for meals, etc. The descriptions of Kate’s artwork and the world around her delighted me – I want to see her designs somewhere! And the friendships were terrific, including the friendships between people of different generations. And of course there was a happy ending, but it was well done.So glad (though surprised because of the quality of the writing) that this is a debut novel – hopefully that means lots more to look forward to.

“Well, well, well,” said Matt. “The Twelve Shags of Christmas, eh!”5 starsI had been on a reading hiatus for a few months during quite a busy period of my life (I had begun working full-time + loads of overtime, then completed a massive house renovation, and in the middle of all that, I got married to the love of my life) so what I really needed to get my reading mojo back, was an easy, cheesy, Christmas romance novel. I’m glad to say that The Twelve Dates of Christmas really fit the bill for this one.”Kate was not the kind of woman who needed a man. But equally, she thought she might quite like one.”Kate is an artistic, talented, and independent, mid-thirties woman. She has travelled the world, built up her career, and self-professed she “just hasn’t found the right one yet”. After a push from her friend Laura, Kate is signed up for The Twelve Dates of Christmas, a holiday-themed dating event, where lucky hopefuls get to go on 12 unique dates with other lucky hopefuls. Kate’s dates make for fun, light-hearted reading, and she does eventually realise where her heart truly lies. This novel is cozy, fun, and full of holiday spirit. Christmas tinsel and jingle bells jumped out of the pages, and holly jolly cheer was around every corner in Blexford Village. It was the perfect little holiday read for me at this time of year.”All was silent but for the sound of the lovers breathing and the beating of their two hearts made whole.”
