New Shokz OpenMeet UC headsets!

Shokz recently launched a new set of headsets and today we will discuss them in deep. A little of background first, as Shokz started back on 2011 (back on those days was called Aftershokz) and they were pioneers on the bone conduction technology on headsets. Bone Conduction technology allows to have a headset, not in the ear canal, but on the top of the temple allowing the user to have full awareness of the surrounding, without compromising the sound coming out form the headset. The most common examples from Shokz can be seen on the OpenComm and the OpenComm2 UC headsets, which had been well accepted and appreciated by users on different scenarios.

The new family of Shokz headsets come now in the shape of the new OpenMeet UC headsets. These are binaural headsets with stereo sound quality coming from the speakers that will be located a little towards the front of the ear, allowing to still have the ear uncovered but allowing a rich sound quality while on use without compromising privacy as the bone conduction technology only allows the user to hear what is happening on the headset. Keeping conversations between user and the other end of the call.

Thanks to the headset lightweight of only 78 grams and fast charging, it allows to get 2 hours of talk time in just 5 minutes! The headset has a USB-C port, allowing to be charged with any USB-C cables that can be found in the computer or domestic appliances now on these days. Due to its innovative design it ease the common pressure points when using a headset and thanks to the TitaniumFlex technology, let the user rest assure that the headset will last and be comfortable to be worn all day.

The included pressure fit cushions, allows the user to interchange the size of them. These goes from Small, Medium and Large and these pressure points will be located on the sides of the headset and adjusted at will. With this feature, allows to find the best comfort on an over the head wearing style headset compared with other brands/models.

OpenMeet UC headset comes in 2 variants for easy selection, the OpenMeet UC USB-A and the OpenMeet UC USB-C. Both headsets offers all the technology from Shokz, and the main difference here would be on the Loop 120 Bluetooth Dongle, as one is a USB-A and the other will be USB-C.

The Loop 120 Bluetooth Dongle on either USB-A or USB-C offers the same range of up to  100 feet when plugged into the computer. This thanks to the Bluetooth V5.4 and offering Zoom Certification, for users concerned about microphone performance when on Zoom calls.
