Xiaomi’s 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max popularized the rear screen idea last year, and the company is getting ready to launch their successors later this month. Meanwhile, Honor has apparently been inspired by Xiaomi, and it’s now working on at least one device with a rear screen of its own.
This will be part of the Honor 700 series, according to a new rumor from Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The phone in question (most likely the Honor 700 Pro) will have a 6.57-inch flat front screen with “1.5K” resolution and symmetrical ultra-narrow bezels, a 200MP main camera (which was rumored before), and a 1.72-inch rear screen.

It’s still unclear where the rear screen will be located – will it be sitting on top of the camera plateau as it is on the aforementioned Xiaomi devices? Or lower? We’ll have to wait for more details to come out.
