Xiaomi is readying a new entry-level Android tablet with the Redmi Pad 2, and the folks over at YTECHB shared some official-looking renders of the upcoming device. Redmi Pad 2 will get an 11-inch IPS LCD with 1,600 x 2,500px resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s expected to feature MediaTek’s Helio G100 Ultra chipset paired with 4/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.
The display will be flanked by a quad speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. The back allegedly features an 8MP camera while the front side gets a 5MP selfie shooter. The device should launch with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.1 based on Android 15 and a 9,000mAh battery with 18W charging. It is also expected to bring a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
According to the rumors, Redmi Pad 2 will start at €229 for the 4/128GB trim, while the 8/256GB version will go for €279.
